Going swimming this summer? 🏊 Watch out for the mer-rabbits! 🐰 🧜‍♀️ These fanciful creatures appear as woodcuts in the "Ortus sanitatis" printed by Johann Prüss in Strasbourg ca. 1497. Though mer-rabbit sightings have been rare since the 15th century, we do urge all swimmers to be alert. 👀
