The practical magick behind it is that now those folks have a living example of how one of their needs might be met in a world beyond capitalism. I didn't have to tell them about capitalism or divesting from the system, I just did what local witches been doing for millenia with herbs of all kinds.

Being hopeful is not naive, it's necessary. This work is not about how much we hate capitalism, but about how much we love each other. It's about wanting better conditions for each other so badly that we're willing to dedicate at least some part of every single day to that outcome.

Show someone what is possible today. Give them some food or direct them to a place where they can find some. Hand them a mask and tell them you want them not to get sick this holiday season. Put up an informative sign in your neighborhood. Anything - just DO what you know needs to be done.
