The artbook included with the reissue of Cannon Dancer includes an interview with Takashi Kogure and Yotsui conducted by zek, and in it, the two teased the possibility of a sequel to Cannon Dancer produced by UGE ... UGE's staff has established good ties w/ Nishizawa & Yotsui through reissues, so...

I hope working on this reissue of Nemesis '90 Kai has quenched some of the bad blood between Zuiki and M2. It was a very odd move from Zuiki to remove SPS's credit from Gradius X68K when it was reissued on the X68KZ.
