Also, since my lab moved to Howard, we are recruiting at many levels. Biology/Graduate school are accepting graduate student applications through early next year.

We currently have NIH-funded projects including: investigating the transcriptionally-dependent and -independent ways that cell shape is regulated by cell fate; investigating the mechanisms by which cytonemes help tissues integrate information over large spaces; ongoing Math/Bio collaborations 3/n

Our lab is engaged in fundamental developmental and cell biology research, using the fruit fly as a model system. Our central goal is to understand how local cell morphology and dynamics contribute to the higher organization of tissues. 2/n
