I'm not gonna get on my crushed cardboard box and say that it's a bad feature or anything, it's great! Good curators of reasonable lists are great at avoiding people who just ragebait and shit like that. It's just the misuse, and as usual, automation of this sort of thing that's an annoyance to me

Like I probably was never gonna interact with the people that subscribed to that list, they were never gonna see anything from me regardless. But it all falls just in line with all the purity-checking nonsense I see locally irl. There's so many schisms within our own communities, it's crazy.

Getting blocked by some thousand-odd people I don't even know and have never interacted with for what turned out to be no valid reason just made me realize how much people really just want an echo chamber. Some people, if there's even so much as a *chance* that you don't agree with them, you're gone

It was because I liked a meme post from some account that happened to post really charged shit like that around 3 months prior and just stopped suddenly. So they were marked for good reason but now everyone who interacts with them gets caught in the flak for this.
