Not in the belief that this would defeat Johnson and Stop Brexit*, you understand. In the certain knowledge that it would fail disastrously, because that was the whole aim of the project.

No doubt the the ten foot blue aliens are ridiculous and all, but I think the political message it’s sending to the public should be pretty damn clear, and it’s the type of thing that would get you referred to Prevent if you articulated it in our present context. Top grossing movie of all time.

The whole point of the privatisation project - aside from transferring huge sums of wealth into private hands - was to put as much of the state as far as possible beyond democratic control, so that future governments would have to shrug at the public and say “Nothing we can do, mate”.
