Bill Watterson did this very well, I remember a lot of his commentaries in the tenth anniversary book were about him taking advantage of plain backgrounds with lots of white space. He only used props and backgrounds to establish where the characters are, that's it. I always liked that about C&H.

I've been wanting to check out these two movies but wasn't sure where to start. Decided to pick by which film had the lower score on RT.
I added both audience and critic scores together to do this. Cobweb lost by about 20 points. Looks like I'm doing that one first!

Anything GDT I'm always down for. But the only request I have is to keep it from the musical. Granted, I'm sure that's not what he had in mind anyway. Probably not directly inspired by the Universal film either but more in that direction at least.

IMHO the Halloween Bob's Burgers episodes don't hit as hard as the Thanksgiving ones, but For Whom the Doll Toes is my favorite.

I love and respect primates but baboons are certainly up there on the list of animals I wouldn't wanna be trapped alone in a room with. Sure, they're not exactly as big or strong as a gorilla or chimp but the teeth... hoo boy the teeth...

My favorite way to cook is to make a bigass pot of soup and freeze half of it so you have quick meals later. You’re looking at 11 servings of lasagna & spinach soup in that pot! Good shit!

Considering what's been going on at Twitchcon, I felt the urge to look up the one streamer who broke her back in the foam pit three years ago. Happy to say... looks like she's doing pretty good.
