Very busy this week. It's Easter holidays, so husband is helping do a serious declutter in the house. I'm in charge of deciding on keeping stuff, he's the muscles. Many bags of junk evicted.

Had a little experiment this evening. I had a length of weave I had done for practice just sitting around, so I decided to try it as a serpent base. Lovely sea serpent.

Spring is here. Lots of lambs and calves appearing around the island. Flowers are coming up, we have had sunshine (positively unheard of in Scotland!), and birds are singing.

Chainmaille is fiddly sometimes. Something I have learned this week is 0.05 of a mm makes quite a big difference in how your maille behaves. That bit of dragonscale I did got too tight. Because the smaller rings are a fraction of a fraction of a mm too small.
