Printed some business cards for the Risograph business, on a wide range of cardstock I already have. Not all of them work, but its a great way to show that you can get some nice colors layering on top of colored paper. #riso #art #silkiescribbles

The Death Stranding series is gorgeous art that exists to platform leftist symbolism and cope as well as Kojima's fetishes. I wish I could love the series for more than just it's design, lead character, and cinematography, but it just doesn't have the depth of Metal Gear.

A pile of small zines made out of one folded sheet of paper each. There's a drawing off a Risograph printer mounted on top of chicken legs like a Baba Yaga hut. In transparent fluorescent pink ink on top it says "Riso Roost" and under that is "a queer-owned risograph press for Long Island, NY" The Risograph is like a photocopier that works like a screenprinter. Invented in 1980s Japan for schools, offices, etc. but appropriated by artists in the 21st century. Bulletpoints with cute pink stars next to them: Eco-friendly process bold, transparent inks tactile, unique texture charmingly imperfect affordable bulk printing along with this is a photo of our risograph with big googly eyes on it, printed in fluorescent pink What you could print with us (as long as it's on legal or letter sized paper): zines show flyers pinback butrons stationary prints pamphlets weird art things let us print your queer, anti-capitalist manifesto, your self-insert Sonic the Hedgehog zine, or a mini-comic about the wildest furry con party you've been to. Who we are: We're a couple of creative married dorks who have been making things together for over 15 years. Under cute little portraits I drew of me and my husband: Sam: pretty good at drawing selling at cons since 2011 plays video games online as a lowpoly chicken vtuber auDHD + trans combo Joe: music and audio guy really useful with his hands used to run local shows as Nice Garage really into modular synth We need a hand: Joe works full-time but Sam is self-employed, but due to various disabilities, they can't keep up with the full-time art grind. They absolutely love making zines and merch, so we hope this can help pay for some bills. ❤️ While our neighbors in NYC have more Riso studios than anywhere else in the US, we don't know of any in Nassau or Suffolk County. While affordable once set up, we need help with starting costs. So far we have ("have" handwritten in every copy because I FORGOT TO WRITE IT) only two drums, and we're hoping to raise funds for at least 2 more colors. For each color, you need a dedicated drum (an arrow points from this to a pink illustration of a drum), which is about $1000 each. Other costs include: various papers ink tubes (~$50 each) masters (the stencils) parts/maintenance education We're working on launching an Indiegogo soon, so please consider supporting us! on the topic of a i art and jobs being lost someone made a good point those jobs never cared about the artist only profits hence why they're resorting to this. Happen in the 80s with typography and now it's happening to digital artists. Also every Industrial Revolution of a new technology everyone always screams about the jobs but they don't think about the new jobs it creates in placement. But I don't use it for digital art I use it for administrative abilities to help me write agendas and programming plans that would normally take me quite a while to do to free me up so l can make more art hands on. It's better to know thy enemy and realize how it works so you don't become a victim of Al ignorance.
