I appreciate that at least foreign defense companies are going "ah, so we need CIWS like 30mm cannons to provide air defense against drones" which, imo, seemed like the obvious counter. Not like air-burst 30mm is cheap, but cheaper than missiles and easy to stockpile

Keeping a potion of Speak with Animals on at all times has been a glorious use of gold in Baldur's Gate 3.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays as everyone comes together with food to celebrate family. I did the green bean casserole, mashed potatoes (with help), cranberry sauce, and helped deep fry the turkey (mostly drinking beer). But as the table shows, everyone did a lot of cooking this year ♥️

Buried in the Valve press release for their VR headset is this gem! Foveated Rendering has been the crown jewel of VR, as it would allow for high resolution without the big latency jump from pushing so many more pixels! I remember Michael Abrash (who went from Valve to Oculus) talking on it in 2016
