Quick garden update! My cucumber plant has flowered, I spied some tiny cherry tomatoes 🍅, and I see why Gregor Mendel used pea plants because holy hell, they grow fast.

Quick garden update! My cucumber plant has flowered, I spied some tiny cherry tomatoes 🍅, and I see why Gregor Mendel used pea plants because holy hell, they grow fast.
I'm still watching my watermelon and strawberry plants!

Last year, my husband built two wooden planter boxes for me, but we ran out of time to plant anything. We planted early this year, and it's going well so far!
I'm especially excited for the lettuce for sandwiches because I'm tired of buying it from the store.

We saw the Glengarry Glen Ross revival with Kieran Culkin, Bob Odenkirk, Bill Burr, and Michael McKean yesterday, and it was phenomenal! I don't appreciate it enough, but I am Iucky that I can hop on a train and be in NYC in 2.5 hours to see a world-class show.

So I love a good, cheesy, hallmark-like Christmas romance novel during this time of year, but this one didn't hook me. It was quite spicy but lacked a lot of likable characters. A kinda fun, quick read, but I won't pick it up again.
