one thing about me is that I love a fuckass plot of a morally ambiguous protagonist fighting against the greater forces of evil (berserk). I feel like more could have been done/expanded upon, because a lot of it felt in medias res, but I loved the story and characters

a gorgeous read. when i think about the fondness and grace that originates from religion, this book encapsulates precisely what i think of. i don't think that it's fair to completely discount the heart of religion as evil, i genuinely think there's a goodness there that modern christian (1/2)

anything cormac mccarthy writes eats like fucking crazy... the film sticks close to its source for this one except there are two major notable differences, one being the ending and the other being llewelyn's death that are just beautifully well done written out. i want to make a cowboy oc now
