After photos of the object were
declassified and released into
the public, a local family came
forward claiming the corpse belonged
to their father ████ ███,
who himself perished in the Lazarus Cave
from a minor collapse, despite having buried the remains
of the victim decades prior.

Analysis of the assumed corpse
shows no trace of living matter,
let alone DNA. Instead the object
is fully made up of red jasper
adorned with crystals
of unknown composition.
