'Peace in our time'

Donald J Trump 2025 oh...

At least the last time America wanted isolation it was an inconsequential self righteous shit hole, now it's weeded itself into everything and removing itself will be catastrophic

It’s great really. Ole had it, Ten Haag too…they’d win just enough to drag the shitness out for 18 months. Glazers sat in Miami counting the ticket sales.

They used to go and buy the best player in Europe to stay in front. They’ve just bought a lad from Lecce.

The decline is slow. I like it.

In 1999 I sat in a cinema confused about what tariffs had to do with the rise of a fascist empire.

“Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute…”

If you haven’t seen it, I implore you to watch Finding Jack Charlton. Such a beautiful, fitting and tender film about a truly great man. The moment when, while living with dementia and unable to remember even his own great achievements, he recognises Paul McGrath is so poignant for so many reasons.
