FYI, i must have messed up something at some point, i have a PC in each ring and my dev device somehow was in canary too. Since i was lazy / didn't want to wipe & i have backups, i tried forcing a downgrade as an upgrade (keep everything) with the old "bypassing the check method".

What ? I was wondering why backspace no longer went back after the latest edge canary update and Microsoft removed the option.
I know i can get it back as an extension but this was a HUGE advantage over chrome.
Here is hoping file explorer won't follow as this would DESTROY my workflow.

Funny how the play system update page doesn't integrate AT ALL with OneUI.

Just discovered something, clicking by mistake on that toggle will really delete all password and sync deletions to all your devices (one click, no confirmation or anything). I thankfully got them back from one phone where old ms auth still had them but it was close to a burn @jenmsft.bsky.social .

Hey @jenmsft.bsky.social , not sure whom to contact but there seems to be a major bug with MS authenticator. (Maybe it's just me, i dont know for sure).
Logging with auth result in "wrong password".
Trying in many times in row locks the MSA due to too many wrong password entered.

Hmm Samsung Email & Gnome are interesting choice there. (I believe it's because i'm signed in my MSA on my s23 & on one PC running gnome).

Hey @jenmsft.bsky.social , are there special restrictions swiching from beta 24h2 to dev 24h2 . Trying with WU told me my PC wasn't compatible with this version yet
Trying with iso told me the same thing.
Upgrading via iso while offline worked but that's a bit strange, as those are both 24h2 based.

Skype Dial Pad is there for people to use the remainder of their skype subscription. However, it's just a link to a web only thing that will probably only be there for the transition period. @laurentgiret.com

Hey @jenmsft.bsky.social , sorry another sunday issue :p This is a weird one in canary ! I added an HDR display to my setup, did the windows HDR calibration but somehow no matter what i do, the color profile always end up with one of the wrong (non HDR) monitor.

Teams just got Skype call / number integration yesterday.
Very strange to develop that feature just for remaining actives accounts that will be disappearing in the next year (mine will be active until 2026)
I guess the dialer & call system might also be used for organization's teams call maybe.

With the skype to teams migration, Microsoft looks like it's still using the good old MSNP (msn messenger protocol) but might finally be dropping messenger.live.com ? (no one care but end of an era in a way).

The old web version of copilot which does not use 90% of your screen real estate is now available for non pro accounts in the M365 app. (both windows are resized to the absolute minimum there).

Edge Canary has a new "update circle animation".
Now looking nothing like the Windows 11 one, it's now 2 semicircles moving.
No idea if it's an edge thing or a preview of microsoft wide changes.
