What sort of a stupid and offensive comment is that? Blocked

Ahem...not to give my ID away, but some person was personally attacked on that matter in this week's edition of that organ of the 3rd estate. Time will tell, I guess, as the seasons roll on.

On one of those cassettes that were ridiculed recently on this platform? I took one with a shortish classical music lament to my mother's funeral and the priest welcomed it. Not quite the usual mixtape...

I'd like Indigenous mythology stories on that screen; might be good for the tourist trade too. But my portable CD player suffices, used to be a PITA with no tray table.

There's a warning, station by station, of short platforms for the longest ones, which is a relief for those of an anxious nature (me); and crossing into an OK carriage is much easier. Of course Blaxland bridge crossing car driving bogans defeat any design

She doesn't appear to owe obedience to anyone, a one person crusade.

I'm not sure how I missed that series; I started watching and it's excellent. I didn't miss the war though, but I was just over the age for drafting, some friends weren't. I worked at the ABC at the time which was required by its govt owner to list its male employees of draft age.

i;ve been down that path, it's ridiculous, and most are expensive. Beans, TVP, Tofu, Dried Bean Curd; all protein and with no resemblance to meat its iterations

I like animals, but very very tired of anthropomorphic attribution given to dogs in particular on this platform.

There used to be design rules in Australia re bonnet profiles: they should, in a collision with a pedestrian, throw them onto the bonnet, not hit them square on or throw them under the car. And kids should be visible.
December 3, 2025 at 12:39 PM
Yes, I see old farts struggling to get in and out of cars of any design My thought as a non car owning pedestrian is whether the difficulty is confined to getting in and out but also their ability to drive safely once they manage it. Realised as I aged that I was a lousy driver myself, very salutary
