31. Kingdoms of the Dump

I have been thoroughly enamoured with this game, there's been some great oldschool games with turn based combat this year already, but my god is this a gem. Wonderful characters, a very neat story, world building that really commits to the garbage bit, please play it!

I believe the devs have stated being directly inspired by the jrpgs they've played and enjoyed, so its more ironic if anything that certain people will treat E33 like the holy grail of jrpgs while simultaneously dismissing the jrpgs that influenced it.

He didn't exactly apologize either iirc, he continued to justify his actions while trying to soften the blow by saying he treats everyone equally and loves the community even if it cancels him. Not a single sorry in there.

I dislike how much its changed over the past few years. Never emphasized chatting much but at least I could see stuff posted by people I follow and then log off, now my feed is filled with sponsored or suggested posts, and reels have taken over more or less.

What a coincidence to see the recent news and this lovely fanart just as when I started watching the anime myself. I'm hoping to enjoy the remainder of the show, it's been very good.

it really does feel like almost every new discourse nowadays heavily involves, or even just really based on, hating Flynn. It's hard to tell sometimes if its simply treating him as a scapegoat or if its just complete genuine hatred against him.
