Steel is real. Carbon bikes won't last.

Fixie riders are a breed apart. They are not for the faint-hearted. I rode one for a while, when I was younger and thought myself immortal--eventually mounted a front-brake-only after it tried to kill me. 😂

I don't like sidewinders at all: don't work in the rain & tear up tires. Hub dynamo is the way to go: water-tight & delivers enough power to recharge a navi-smartphone. Pictured is an original Schmidt dynamo from 1990, still running strong. The LED lamp features a USB charger port.

Kudos. Firemen run in when everyone else runs out.

Ah, a "fixie" is a fixed-wheel bike--you pedal forwards, you move forwards, you pedal backwards, you move backwards. To slow down you slow down your pedalling. To 'brake', you lock your legs and skid the rear tire.

Start 'em early. 👍

Brakes? You have brakes on a fixie? Real men fly taildraggers, ride hardtails, play hardball, and don't brake. 😂

Kudos. Once, long ago, there were more HPVs on the road than motor vehicles. So shall it be again -- some day.

I good friend of mine says, if re-incarnation is real, he wants to come back as a woman's bicycle seat.

😂

Yes! Make parking go underground, make cycling safe!

Ex. 23:2 appears to have escaped her attention.

His fun is ephemeral--his name will be chiselled off all the monuments and his signature erased from all the pardons when he's gone.

I could hardly fail to dispute that less.

Somebody planted those two trees in exactly the right place to catch the sun's rays--just like the megaliths on Salisbury Plain.

I've googled Angelina's image and studied her physique--while she has a fine forehead and high cheekbones, I have to say that her TEMPLES are not really her STAND-OUT feature. 😍

Yes, I too left the cinema infatuated, though not with temples ....

America under Trump has become a rogue state; if Congress does not remove him from office under the 25th Amendment, it will be remembered as a failed one.

So, you see, Tilly, what the picture must have in common with reality in order to be able to represent it in the manner in which it does—whether truly or falsely—is the form of representation, plus the same logical multiplicity as the atomic facts so represented.

The Coast Guard reversed the 'potentially divisive' decision within hours of detection by the Washington Post.

Don't confuse Vance by citing facts and statistics. Just find out how much the NRA donated to his slush fund.

It's no logic at all. It's 'alternative bookkeeping', from the NRA.

Utter cowards they be, afraid to speak truth to power.
