Posted this on instagram and the people who have liked it are not Swifties and I badly want to know what they think it means because I kinda doubt they know the reference?

I have no idea how I ended up on this mailing list.

I have not posted a picture of Tonks and do not want to display cat favoritism by only posting Ginny photos.

I’m very tired of everything (going to start using the word weary a lot, it conveys so much) so here’s a picture of my cat during a Teams meeting today.

The Carolina Wrens have shown up and are mocking her.

Ok look I try not to bring Twitter onto BlueSky but this is the greatest community note to ever community note and I can’t not share it.

Completely random things I have saved that make me laugh. (The first one is a street art mosaic in Richmond, Virginia!)

I can work with a ball of fur on my lap but we’re quickly reaching “can no longer put off having to go to the bathroom” territory.

Cat ownership is giving up on trying to stop my cat from drinking from my water glass by just getting her her own mug.

I read Dracula for the first time this year and really enjoyed it. I have the Edward Gorey edition too! It’s so gorgeous. I highly highly recommend this continuation of Lucy’s story that came out this year, one of my favorite books for the year, you should check it out!!

I finished reading this last night and it’s probably my favorite book of the year. A continuation of Lucy’s story in Dracula, it’s a sapphic romance with vampiric horror that spans from the 1800s to 2025 and its stunning.

So this, and evermore too. I got “long story short I survived” tattooed when I graduated with my BAs in May of 2021. I would not have made it through without those albums, but especially folklore.

I love that bridge!! I got to explore that area for the first time this year and I have so many great pictures of the river and the bridges. It’s so beautiful and yours are gorgeous!!!

Spent yesterday with dear friends enjoying Barbenheimer for the second time (my third showing of Barbie). It is such a pleasure to enjoy a movie with a crowd, and I love the movement we made of it. The internet (Twitter, RIP) isn’t always bad.

Tonks (fuzzy orange and grey) and Ginny (solid grey) are 11 year old sisters and I’ve had them since they were only a couple months old. I dragged them across the country in a small car for seven days and they still love me. They’re the best.
