Nice, I haven't tried those. I also like the UAD Studer A800, especially on a mix bus.

I've used tape emulator plugins a lot, I really like Waves J37 but you're totally right. They do a job but they just don't sound the same. I've got an ancient 60's Akai with a broken channel, I use it to add tape delay to a live vocal take, no delay plugin I've ever used sounds anywhere near it.
