plus, its not any actual skills you use. those are a separate system that replace "socketing" in most other arpgs, including the 2nd game. the tree is all stuff involving your stats or behavior of specific skill types (like fire skills dont crit anymore but do x auxiliary function, etc)

the whole thing lol... the outer parts are all subclass trees (these aren't all on the in-game tree, its just for the planning program)

its the same tree for each class too, just starting from a different spot, so its more intuitive than it seems

path of exile 1's talent tree is infamously deranged looking but also its more simple than it might seem, since its all in relevant clusters so youre more like, planning towards a small and specific set of things
