For me, though, I just opt to emulate games that are just ridiculously expensive. As much as I don't want to do that.

Fun fact: that first listing for Tail Concerto is the cheapest it goes for. It's so bad that I opted for the Japanese copy of the game.
Indeed, it is such a pain. The best solution right now is getting FreeMcBoot + burned CD ISOs since they can save to your memory card and run easily.

If you're looking for games that are a bit similar to Destrega, definitely check out The Unholy War. It's a really fun arena fighter with a really unique premise!
