Jess doll & Steve doll in the art installation and performance of Jessica Kallista’s Ludic Pataphysicality over the weekend at VisArts in Rockville, MD. Jess doll is wearing a long black dress and sitting on the floor reading Simulacra and Simulation by Jean Baudrillard. Two of her collages are installed on a gallery wall behind her. Another collage rests on the floor with her alongside a printout of an essay by Sam Gill — “Dancing as Seduction - 2: Baudrillard — from his book, Dancing Culture Religion.
