My 2D RPG needs “sides”. Factions that players can join similar to ally/horde in WoW. Im currently focussed on “Colonial” (18th Century European) and “Tribal” (Māori, Aboriginal, etc). Does the history of these real-world factions taint a side and discourage players from choosing?
