There's no need to steal when we are practically giving our work away so many places. It's just so much more respectful of authors' consent to use these ways we offer and agree to.

"The friction is where the learning happens" - exactly. Learning something takes work - the brain is literally rewiring itself.

People who don't want to do the work don't actually want to learn - they want the knowledge without the effort.
