Now do the same thing for food or healthcare, JD.

"Food's too expensive because immigrants are feeding their kids with food that should, by right, go to native-born US citizens"

It's like something out of a '90s SNL skit: "Mr. President, you're good enough, you're smart enough, and doggone it, people like you!"

interesting you bring up Aldi, because that's another store that's mostly own-label and limits the number of SKUs.

Which makes it a really efficient place to shop. I don't have to choose between 10 different brands and sizes of ketchup.

Since I'm already wearing my Costco jeans and Costco hoody, I guess I might as well watch this.

I sent Peters a note this morning. He's one of my Senators.

I think a lot of these Senators are just administrators and coordinators than they are leaders and strategists. I'm very disappointed.

I'm not so sure this isn't a problem with the geographic distribution of economic opportunity rather than a housing supply problem.

This is kind of the direction I'm going also. Except for the 20-year period after WW2, the single earner, suburban detached home, new car experience was not typical.

But to be fair, healthcare costs are something that would affect a 58-year-old even *more* than a 25-year-old.

Ah yes, the "tired of winning" strategy
November 5, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Is this the point where they try to shift from malevolence to mere incompetence?
November 5, 2025 at 2:06 PM
