Some sorts have locking lids - often the handle swings over. Ours is kept on the counter top and is a ceramic one with a heavy lid - too heavy for the thief to dislodge. Unlike the lid of the butter dish. Though in this photo it was temporarily unattended spag bol.

We adopted him from Cairo. He was gorgeous, and super-smart, with some weird obsessions - reflections and shadows among them, which is why we got him his own disco ball.

To the above questions, you might be more comfortable with the artwork on the Biomedical Campus in Cambridge - bags of (expensive) parking and the adjacent restaurant at the Royal Papworth is pretty good. The tent is fibreglass.

Yes, only I collected my son from that same station just as the police were searching with guns and dogs. The two local papers covered it for a few days but the nationals rather lost interest. Maybe because the victim was called Mohammed.
