- He got his degree in information systems, I finished mine in CS, but didn't pursue a job in the industry. He supports us both, and I get to have a career as a plush maker, my favorite "jobby". 🩷

- so I took some computer science courses to fill gaps in my schedule. Fell in love with software development. Switched majors from ani to CS and started dating my (now) husband.
After marriage, I slowed down my degree progress to push him through, and took up plush work full time. I LOVED it. -

- I figured I might as well. Did some local conventions, kept improving my patterns, and turned it into a part-time job I did as creative release.
I got to uni, started animation in earnest, and kept plushing at my dorm room desk. Ended up needing an extra year to build my animation portfolio -

- my own hand at it using the limited knowledge I had from sewing a pair of pj pants for past project. It wasn't great, but looked like a pony, and I enjoyed it, so I kept making new, better versions of the same character.
After a while, I started getting messages about taking comms, so -

- certs, a gd degree was redundant. So I pivoted to animation (because we all know that's financially stable 😑).
At the same time, I saw a ton of artists start making mlp plushies, something I was also a fan of. But being in high school and saving for uni, no way could I afford one. So I tried -

3 different facial expressions, all machine embroidered.
