Her türlü hukuksuzluk o yörüngenin kazanımlarını geciktiren bir patinaj, ama daha fazlası değil. Geriye doğru yaşamayacağız tarihi, sadece gecikeceğiz.

But will the same hold true for artificial intelligence, or are we facing a different scenario this time? Will AI initially minimise and eventually eliminate the need for human labour altogether?

For quite some time, I have been considering establishing a "male circle"—a space founded on benevolent values where the male experience can be discussed. I want us to share our experiences as men more openly, as I believe such a discussion can have a liberating effect.

No discussion of the male experience should seek to overshadow the discrimination, hardships, and suffering experienced by non-men.

However, this does not have to be the case. It is possible to discuss the negative aspects of the male experience in an egalitarian and peaceful manner, without falling into the trap of sexism.

Among those who highlight the negative aspects of the male experience, some groups have used these difficulties as leverage to fuel hostility and discrimination against women. Various groups identifying with the "men's rights movement" openly or implicitly advocate male superiority.

These examples can be expanded or debated, but the core argument suggests that men face systematic discrimination and neglect in certain aspects of life.

Due to societal expectations of strength and endurance, men are overrepresented in dangerous jobs such as mining, construction, and logging. Additionally, male victims of sexual assault often struggle to find support.

David Benatar, in his book The Second Sexism, examines the types of discrimination and difficulties men face. Benatar argues that, in many parts of the world, men disproportionately die in wars or suffer physical and psychological trauma as a result. Conscription is predominantly expected of men.

However, there is also a neutral perspective: the male experience as a part of the social fabric of everyday life.

Two questions arise: What are the negative aspects of the male experience? For instance, can men be systematically discriminated against?
