Just left it to drip overnight so no squeezing of the pulp.

Usually a fish stew or risotto. If I’m in a rush I just stash the shells in a bag in the freezer to use when I need them.

Yes but as I live near the coast sometimes I use langoustines because I can get them off the boat. The shells are saved for stock.

The fennel goes so well with prawns. It’s a real favourite of mine. Quick & easy to make too.

Health Psychology. First degree is an hons in psychology so she’s looking at jobs which have the opportunity to do a PhD & am keeping everything crossed for Glasgow where she’ll be nearer to us.

Nothing like seeing your kids do well. We have another graduation next month; daughter gained her Masters degree so another trip to Aberdeen for us.
That’s reminded me I need to book a hotel. Son has decided to take a couple of days off work & come along too so a good family occasion.

He is, but he’s getting opera tickets, dinner in a nice restaurant & an overnight in a hotel so think he’s getting a good deal. Husband hates opera so I get to go with someone else who enjoys it.

I’m sure I’ll have a great time. I can get up during the intervals & my son tends to ply me with gin & tonics. 🤣

Thanks, it’s slow & frustrating but am finding it a bit easier to get about. Just as well since I have tickets for La Boheme in Glasgow on Saturday. The real challenge will be sitting in a cramped seat but we decided to stay over in a hotel nearby so can get back & do stretches.

Urgh! Glad to hear you’re not too unwell with it.

Thanks Karen, it comes & goes a bit now but at least it’s not there all the time.

I really enjoyed the meals I had there & felt it was really good value for money.

That’s brilliant! I was gutted when they closed the one I used to go to in Glasgow. Don’t think there are any in Scotland nowadays.
