Today’s misadventures with the child:
I am sitting on the bed with him, and he has seized a board book I was reading to him. The Princeling proceeds to gnaw on it, and I say to him, “I mean, I’ve heard of a hunger for knowledge, bubby, but this is a little ridiculous.”

Of all the little critter plushies that I have shown The Princeling, I think so far the thing that has brought him the most joy is the Ruzader. Watching him scream and giggle as he rolls around with this goofy little cat-lizard-bug brings the biggest smile to my face

Fun thing I can do now that I have a campaign going: Dump all the random character ideas I’ve had into the game as NPCs.
Not Nhago’a though. He’s built for a different kind of environment. Everyone else is fair game though lol

So the WHM in my XIV TTRPG campaign was made aware of a slight height-related ouchie the DRK had. She proceeded to correct this by casting Cure via head-bonk.

The problem with random character ideas for me is that I can’t just put them on the shelf like they’re display models. I have to do something with them. To continue the wargaming comparison, they have to see the field of battle.

So the baby hasn’t been feelin’ good the past couple days ‘cuz he got a bunch of shots on the 19th. Now Sorcha and I both are also not feeling good ‘cuz of lack of sleep.
One of us still has to go in to work though, unfortunately we both can’t call out.
