Is it controversial to say I did not enjoy ZA? :(
The copy was gifted to me, and I'm very grateful! I did finish the game, but admittedly I needed a break from it. It was exhausting. I liked the fight system, but I hated the environment and the feeling like I'm doing chores.

You & I were hurt. We had experiences we shouldn't have had, or should have been protected from or guided through w/ compassion & care. That wasn't our fault. Blaming & shaming ourselves for having been vulnerable won't change what happened-- or what we need to do now to recover.

When we endure trauma, & no "why" makes any goddamn sense, Trauma Brain will come up w/ a story that "explains" the "why"-- usually in terms of it being our fault and/or the world being irredeemably awful & dangerous.

All this time when people kept saying they're gonna go see Iron Lung, I thought they mean the video game on steam. Since it was trending a while ago.
But now I'm reading it's the movie, and it IS based off of this very game? That's cool as heck, wow.
