Happy Final Space Friday! A couple of cryptic pages for your eyes. So lots of progress, the big hurdle is the coloring still, were making progress but it's still the slowest part of this. I'm having to juggle a few different artist to different spots to fix a few pages that aren't matching exact. I'm decided to keep three colorist that are fast and deliver the level of quality I'm looking for. Sadly I'm going to have to let go of two colorist because of the speed/quality isn't up to the levels that have already been set. Never a fun thing to do but it's more work to go back and fix things at this point. I'm going to have Jose Jaro the colorist who's been doing the trippy aura colors I've been posting to do a pass on a few pages to enhance the color in a couple chapters. I feel like some pages could be plused. He's been doing something really cool with effects, adding glints, highlights, reflections, glows in his coloring that's so unique and has brought up every page he's touched. Now, even in the inking we have to do a small correction pass to make sure the characters are on model so it's not distracting while you read it. This one isn't a huge problem, for the most part everything has been on point besides a few weird looking faces. Same thing happened in animation funny enough. I think it's more of a me thing, like if Gary doesn't look like Gary it drives me crazy lol Anyways, Daz is still on the last chapter, Noah is wrapped for the most part, done with Part 7 and Chiara is done with Part 5. I still own them a few notes but trying get the coloring situation back in order. (wipes sweat off forehead) Onwards! -Olan

"Happy Final Space Friday! So lots of forward progress. Coloring is the main focus while, these pages are inked by Noah Ruff and our new colorist who's never done a graphic novel before, Jose Jaro. I love what he's doing with color on this chapter. Daz is inking the last chapter and has started to turn in pages. My hope and goal is to try and get done a bit early so we can do a polish pass. I'm currently signing novel stickers, so far I've done 2,500. Overall lots of forward momentum. Still under the weather with Covid so I'll doing as much a I can while I have the energy. More soon! "Happy Final Space Friday! Sorry for being so late, I'm very sick. I just emerged from a fever dream and realized I haven't updated yet. So currently I have five colorist coloring at the same time haha insane. It's coming together on the coloring front, still the slowest part but multiple chapters are being colored at the same time all the way up to Part 6 and that chapter alone with have two colorist doing it since it's so big. Daz @daztibbles sent the first 8 pages to PART 8 and they look great! @ChiaraIac and Noah and pretty much done with Part's 5 & 7. Just need to review the pages and spotlight any notes. So as I wait for colored pages, I'm signing book stickers and writing a prologue. Adding some colored pages from the Ash chapter. Still lots to do but were slowly checking the boxes off of things that are completed, and that gives us a small window to improve anything we can. - Writing is mostly done, but revisions will continue as pages and lettering are completed. - The ending is fully written, and Daz is inking Part 8, which is 62 pages long. - Other parts are still in progress: Noah is finishing Part 7, Chiara is completing Part 5, and inking for Part 8 remains. - A prologue is being added, centered on Invictus, using existing graphic pages. - Coloring is behind schedule with five colorists working on different chapters, potentially extending into late 2024 or early 2025. - Pre-order deadline for the color edition will be extended, with a final cutoff to be announced. - Midnight edition (Black & White) will be printed first, and pre-order cutoff for it will be before the color edition. - Midnight edition will also serve as a test version for feedback, involving Patreon members. - Happy with the emotional ending, though some parts could have been expanded. - Printing and shipping will take months after placing the order, with additional stress of managin

Happy Final Space Friday, Today was a busy day, lots going on at the same time. Hired a new colorist, actually two. @daztibbles has finished Part 6 and is sweeping through a few pages we need corrections on before he begins inking Part 8. Noah and Chiara are still on Part 7 and 5 and should be done in a few weeks. Lettering is done on Part 2, we need to fix a couple pages before we send him Part 3 and 4. I'm starting the design layout of the novel, never done it before but into the fray I go. Adding some colored pages from Part 3 and (drum roll) the titles to the Parts of the novel. I figured I need a title pages between the cold opens and the chapters beginning so I wrote some chapter titles. Okay, I need to get some sleep. -Part 1 of the project is almost complete, with 173 fully finished pages; only 12 more need colouring. -Part 2 is being lettered, bringing the total to over 200 completed pages when done. -Part 6, an 80-page chapter, is nearing completion, described as the heart of the book. -Multiple artists, including Chiara and Noah, are still inking their chapters, with additional support being hired. -The project is progressing well, feeling both close to completion yet distant, but Part 1 is described as fun, dramatic, and reminiscent of the original show.
