"Catholic youth group" shouldn't be a thing - it wasn't for me, unless you count CYO Basketball.

I think it's fine to have 32 (or more) teams but:
1. They need to stop pretending Utah is new. My team played all these guys 2 years ago in Tempe.
2. They really need to split into 2 leagues or something, like the old AL and NL. There are too many other teams to play when playing everyone!

Defensive team is allowed to protect their signs by making them complicated, concealing them, intentionally balking with a runner on second, yelling at the opponent when they do it.

Winnipeg moved to Arizona, then to Utah. It's one team. Not presenting the Mets as anything but an absurd case.

Which predecessor team would the NY Mets get? (Probably the Giants, since they played at the Polo Grounds and the first owner was the one Giants shareholder to vote against relocation. But why not give them the 1800s "Metropolitan" club from the American Association?)

This is the logical extension of leaving the Arizona records in Arizona and giving Utah an "expansion team" where all the players and organization came from one place.

I'm glad this was set in the Ned cinematic universe!

Very "the Office" coded, which is appropriate because they did a Fudgie cake on that show

Pitt has been independent within my lifetime. Has conference membership helped or harmed the program?
December 8, 2025 at 8:00 PM
in the unlikely event that Notre Dame gets squeezed into a conference, I guarantee it wouldn't be the fourth strongest one (the ACC).
December 8, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Or the actual answer, "leave."
December 8, 2025 at 7:29 PM
the ACC should choose Notre Dame over Alabama.
December 8, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Okay, so there is a line BEFORE and AFTER last week's rankings.

The ACC was actively politicking against a conference member (asterisk, but still) before and after that time.
