Its purpose is to release machine screws avoiding rounding. It has micrometer adjustment for pressure. I worked in manufacturing / tool shop as a kid and might be remembering a tool that one of the engineers made themselves. Or… it it might be a fever dream 😅 2/2 #engineering

Neither sorry 😞. The first part (FA1-652) does seem to be available NOS but quick search didn't find anything in the UK (www.jaskamerakauppa.fi/en/spare-par...). Assuming you have the DE-2 finder, I wasn't able to find any separate spares, nor a parts catalog for it, only full viewfinders for £££.

… of course the side effect here is a workshop full of tiny bags and pots with hastily printed labels on (thanks Lidl, that £15 printer has been perfect!) and a backlog of things to add to the site. It’s what winter evenings are for though. Is there a small part you need? #BelieveInFilm #FilmCameras
