Not a vegan but I frequent that sub. It's not an uncommon reaction. (You also get a lot of people worried that their meds aren't vegan, to which the replies are almost always "Take your meds and don't worry about it!")

Chosen doesn't mean what you think it means. It means "chosen to do extra work" (kind of like noblesse oblige without the noblesse part).
Whether or not a god exists isn't really relevant since practice is significantly more important than belief.

This is the point when you should be reading historians rather than the Christian Bible to learn history. You might even learn something about the historical Pharisees rather than the completely ahistorical ones in your religious books.

No, that's a different. I mean, it's not unreasonable if you don't know anything about modern science (just look at Greek mythology, for example). But being presented with the tooth no longer being there and the money is and being told XYZ that fits the evidence, it's not lack of reason.

Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy? Young children get evidence for those all the time. Put a tooth under the pillow, it vanishes overnight and money appears. Presents show up under a tee with a note from Santa.
