We also discussed red-lines, where a particularly interesting take-away for me was the many voices agreeing they should be far away from making mirror bacteria. But just how far is tricky. Making a mirror genome? Making a mirror ribosome? (2/2)

My main point was that #verification is not an end in itself; it is a tool to build confidence. #AI can augment, but not replace, the human and institutional foundations of trust. 2/3
