At this time the British NHS, which remains "free at the point of use" and paid for entirely by taxation (and not an extortionate amount!) seems a better option than America's. Last month I was listed for a hip replacement. I expect to get my op in the spring. Not bad for a free service.

USians, please note this "Pissed" state is in no way related to the American "Pissed", which is expressed in British English as "Pissed Off", In British English (which is my native language as a Scotsman) "Pissed" means drunk enough to not care, but happily mellow, as stated above. Goodnight!
