I spend a lot of time in rural Ontario and it's just surreal. Nonstop complaining about ERs closing down, made up complaints about crime, the (new) homelessness in their towns, and they don't even consider blaming the guy in charge of healthcare, police, and housing

It's reminiscent of his strategy during covid of just... Hiding. Never doing interviews, never giving speeches, never being seen in public

It works on the median voter, who forgets the provincial govt even exists and goes and blames Ottawa instead
