I printed out a test of the loaf one yesterday in pla just to see the size and realized that it floats like a duck.

These are going to be small. About the size of a blind box figure. I think the standing one is roughly 80 mm tall.

Is that PLA? I recently discovered that weldon 3 will basically melt it together like model glue does for styrene. I usually use weld on three for acrylic.

The pigeon loaf one is just a modified version of the original. All of mine are going to be like that. I'll use the original one and just reposition stuff to make new poses so they all have a consistent feel.

Thanks! I actually didn't look at any other art when I started these. Just lots of tiktoks and Google image searches of pigeons. I try to not look at other art when I do things because I don't want to trigger my "this reminds me of" peeve. 😂

But seriously... who looks at that image and thinks they're going to get that robot (presumably fully built) for only $35 and free shipping? You can't even get a decent toy or model for that much any more. And WAY too many people have assumed this there. Mind boggling.

This is also why I sell this particular fileset for $35 on Etsy, but for only $25 on my own online shop. Annoyance surcharge because the clientele is so vastly "different". Etsy=Mega-Karens. Not all buyers mind you... but most complaints come from Etsy and not FichtenFoo.com.

I also Dremmeled a nice sized notch out of my other thumb nail yesterday while hollowing out an old resin head I've been sculpting over for a work thing. Not sure why people think art is fun and not work. hahah! I mean I love it, but it's a literal pain physically and mentally sometimes.

Not even cut as far as I can tell... just hit the thumbnail hard enough on that edge that it must have separated from the skin underneath. Not as sore now as when I did it 20 minutes ago, but I'm gonna feel it in the morning and the next week for sure! Gonna make sanding hurt so maybe I'll delay it.
