Keeping Alan Dye for so long was Tim Cook’s biggest mistake. I sincerely can’t wait until his influence is utterly annihilated. I want my damn computer back.

They really put the ASS into Liquid Glass. It only barely works on iOS, but gawd it’s awful on a laptop. I used to praise Apple for attention to detail and thoughtful usable beautiful consistency. I think that was like … 10 years ago? It’s embarrassing now, like Windows 8.

We have a double problem. We anthropomorphise LLMs and we assume that humans can identify and store truths in an immutable way. We both confabulate as a matter of course; it’s all we really do. Neither of us act like computers.
