Yeah, you can run a thing called a Personal Data Server (which is conveniently packaged for Docker). It keeps all your data inside your own server is. Took me ~30 minutes to get it going, including f'ing around with my DNS server.
If you do that, you have to edit this importer to talk to your server

Nice! We'll have to try that again, especially when we take off in weird spots. We have a newer drone than the one that got confused by the car but just never tried it again.

Do you have luck with that? The only time I tried it, the metal in the car roof f'd up the GPS and it wouldn't let us take off.
