Also it is always much harder for a striker to play against back 3 CB. De Ligt was impressive in few games vs physical strikers. There is still time to see. Watkins against Wolves at home might be a better bet. He should start scoring at some point. He is out of the England squad as well.

My plan is the same but slightly different team. Maybe Villa or Liverpool striker instead of Mateta.
