I beat Wuchang the other day. Really enjoyed it overall. Story didn’t make a lick of sense but it was fun to play. Of course I got the bad ending, didn’t care YouTubed the good one lol.

I try so hard to just post about gaming stuff here...but this country is falling apart around us...cities harassed by ICE, illegal military intervention, defunding UN programs, tariffing our allies, the devaluing of the dollar, massive job losses, I could go on but I only have so many characters.

I’m getting increasingly tired of my YouTube feed with videos about Trumps health decline with sensationalized titles. Once he’s finally gone I’m going to be desensitized by the headlines and not enjoy it as much lol.

With the way AI is gobbling up everything computer related (ram, memory, etc) Sony and Microsoft should just hold off on their plans for a next gen console unless they expect us to pay $1,000+ for their next systems.

Finally got through Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Man what a great game. Top to bottom perfection for an Indiana Jones game. That said, I'm not sure it's a game "for me" if that makes sense. Like, I'd take any shmup, JRPG, or beat em up over it. Still, 10/10 if this is your style game.

So, I am worried about AI taking our jobs, but my current ire at AI is taking all the PC parts that make up my video game hobby spiking the prices of everything to obscene levels. All so rich people can make money off of copyright infringement and firing as many people as possible.

God of War Ascension gets a bad rap. It’s a fun game, better than 1 arguably better than 2 imo. 3 is still my favorite from the originals or Chains of Olympus I replayed that one like 8 times.

The new Frankenstein movie is amazing. Easily the best film I’ve seen in years. So many movies lately I watch and the next day I can’t even recall what I saw. This has stuck with me though which is a good sign.

I finished Trails of Cold Steel 2 over the weekend. Still waiting for the story to be compelling…the characters really have no conviction. They cry over a guy trying to end the world just because he was a former classmate, and everyone is way too casual with each other. There’s no tension at all.

I finally saw the last two Mission Impossible movies as I was waiting on the 4K physical to arrive of the last one. They were….fine I guess? I think my biggest complaint is they didn’t have a good villain. Cruise on his own is fun to watch doing stunts but the story was so uninteresting overall.

Microsoft is insane thinking $30 a month is ok for gamepass. That works out to 6 fully priced games per year that you can keep. Their monthly output of those kinds of games isn’t even that high let alone you’d have to have interest in all of them to make that worth it.

I will never understand the people who downvote a game over "censorship" like....who cares? Oh this anime character has a little more clothing on than in another region....game is bad! lol. I may be wasting my life but nowhere nearly as much as these people at least.

The Batman Quest VR game is fantastic. But I think an underrated feature is you can make shadow puppets and it’s hilarious.

Really enjoying Borderlands 4 but I can’t be the only one that completely tunes out when they start doing story bits. I just can’t bring myself to care.
