Neither a ferret, nor a banana. Pfffft.
I’m rarely shocked by what he says these days but this is jaw-dropping.

That said, well managed hunt for wild animals is WAY better than farmed animals. On literally every possible level. Better still, go vegan or at least veggie. Let’s do it, you and me.

It’s not remotely that.

If you actually did, you wouldn’t be pretending fish farming is in some way better than well managed fisheries. I get it, most fisheries aren’t managed well. But the recovery graph for this one looks really good.

Fisheries can be well managed to keep stocks high.

And if fish farming is so good, what do you think farmed fish eat?

In fact 2 mins searching online and it’s 100% funded by the salmon farming industry. FFS.

This sort of pseudo-expert platform pushing against environmental checks and balances is infuriating. They purely exist to con the public to fuel corporate greed.

That’s clearly a PR platform for the aquaculture industry. Best ignored.

Fair. And a challenge for the Greens is how to communicate the how.

But by expecting the Greens to show you the how, you’re raising the bar way above what’s expected of other parties.

Nah, centrists (I used to be one) need to make the shift to understanding business as usual isn’t going to cut it any more. E.g. relying on endless GDP growth on a finite planet makes no sense. We need a very different direction.

People vote utterly different in council elections. The worst polling is more useful in understanding who will win parliament seats than actual council voting. Especially council by-elections. Turn out is usually tiny in those.

14 by-elections for councillor roles.

Meanwhile, aggregated voting intentions for MP seats from across all recent polls gives a very different picture:

That didn’t happen though. It was never made acceptable to wear them with socks. Sure, people do wear them like that. But it’s not acceptable.

Sure. But people deliberately leave their cats behind. That’s how we got Basil. People over the road were feeding him in the street after his owners just left without him.

Mangled pedestrians tend not to have them. Cars with pedestrian shaped dents probably tend to lose them.

Seizing their assets feels pretty reasonable. There’s literally no way that family earned them in any normally justifiable way.

I suspect it’s more along the lines of living alone means it would take all week to fill a dishwasher, by which point it would be a rancid cess pit.
