When I was briefly in New York I knew there was one place in the entire city I absolutely NEEDED to see. And that happened to be a giant pigeon statue.

I saw @criticalrole.bsky.social live. To be able to see everyone in person, playing with a story that was loved into existence…it truly felt like magic. I love this voice acting community dearly, and I loved getting to meet all of the creative individuals who love them too. ♥️

We’ve seen at least 3 other groups of #criticalrole fans just walking around New York today so far - one group even hunted us down to give us pins! I was given a meta gaming pigeon pin because I have a pigeon on the back of my wheelchair. I love the crit role fam. 😂

When I got diagnosed, I felt like my dreams fell apart. #Baldur’sGate3 made me fall in love with performing again. It was an absolute joy to meet with the cast this weekend. This game and these people will always have a special place in my heart. ♥️

I have a small army of birds I feed - usually mourning doves, starlings, blue jays, cardinals, and house sparrows.…plus the resident chipmunk and occasional squirrel. We’ve also rescued several bees! Some of the doves will hang out on the porch with me while I read. It’s lovely.

#SushiBen was one of the first auditions I did when I started #voiceacting. I fondly remember recording excited pigeon noises in my closet like a madman. So as a little reminder to why I do this, and far I’ve come since, here Pot-Chan now perches. ♥️
