there’s something to be said about the monster being made up by executed criminals. the type to be deemed monsters outright- in the same fashion as victor’s monster!

love the idea that it’s possible victor’s memory conflating elizabeth and his mother as one person, or maybe they really did look alike! we’ll never know, that’s the fun of unreliability
