I was having lunch in Gresham, OR today, & the ladies behind us were talking about @aftynbehn.bsky.social. One had donated to her campaign.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Just removing Johnson would be a good start, and sounds like there’s a will to do so. Problem is, who wants to replace him? And could they agree on his replacement?

@gasbuddyguy.bsky.social any insight into this situation?

Hugh Hewitt aka Mr. “Venezuelan will bring us together” strikes again.

The federal government had them on standby so they should pay the bill, NOT Oregon taxpayers. What can be done about this @agdanrayfield.bsky.social?

100%! I watched the movie “The Apprentice,” and it provided a greater understanding. I also believe his “reality” television show bolstered a certain image in viewers’ minds. @davidfrenchjag.bsky.social also hit on something when he wrote, “Will Somebody Please Hate My Enemies For Me.”

Great news! Enjoy Thanksgiving at home with family!

Here’s hoping they all enjoy the holidays at home with their families, as should be the case.

My 93 yr old mom lives in assisted living (expensive!) so her resources are very limited. Thankfully, my dad pushed for work benefits that passed onto survivors. She’s reimbursed for IRMAA, any premiums, copays & out of pocket expenses up to $4K per year. HUGE benefit.

I hope CA NG can now enjoy Thanksgiving with their families.

They’re crackpots, so that would track.

I thought this before. First time was the Access Hollywood tape. So many off ramps for the GOP, but they’ve stuck with him even after Jan 6. I hope you’re right, but…

My hope is that in the future, a POTUS will be limited in how they can personalize the Oval Office. They should be able to change the private living quarters, but the other areas should not be changed without going through a special council made up of those who understand history.

#SNF was heavy on the defense and pretty lean on the offense, too, but at least they went into halftime 12- 3.
November 11, 2025 at 2:39 AM
So sad for their families who have to go through the holidays without them for no good reason.

Regardless of profession, if one can afford to retire when they reach Social Security full retirement age, they should do so. Life is short. Spend time with family. Volunteer. Mentor. Travel.

I worked in PR, and that’s an excellent talking point!

My son & family need the ACA subsidies, as well. They are talking about going without insurance. Scary! My daughter is in the military, so glad she’s going to be paid, but that would have happened eventually.
November 10, 2025 at 2:18 AM
@cortezmasto.senate.gov I own a home in NV, close to AZ/UT border. My son’s family can afford insurance w/o ACA subsidies. #DoNotCave Hard for me to take this stance becuz my daughter is in the military & affected by the shutdown. She will eventually be paid, though. Loss of insurance is forever.

DO NOT CAVE!
