Ah, thanks for the info. Didn't know the process. Will look into it later.

And sorry for venting my frustration here. Also wrote TK again, this time via a legally required form to report accessibility barriers (mainly since the technical support form didn't work^^).
So, 🤞 it'll make a difference.

Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) is the largest public health insurance organization in Germany with 12.3 million insured members as of 2025-12.

It's quite a pain that they're blocking GrapheneOS and people can't access their electronic medical records because of this.

Both TK-Safe & TK-GesundheitsMessenger don't work because these features need to be authenticated via the separate TK-Ident app, which is fully blocked on GrapheneOS outlined above.

Also, TK-App itself is mostly working (again) but requires both Google Play Services and the Google Play Store to be installed.

However some important functionality does not work:
- TK-Safe — electronic medical record (ePA)
- TK-GesundheitsMessenger
- Fingerprint login

TK-App is already listed on your page. Could you also additionally add TK-Ident & TK-Doc here? These apps are by the same developer and don't work at all on GrapheneOS at the moment.

I contacted the developer multiple times, but they haven't shown any interest in adding GrapheneOS support so far.

If you run into apps banning using GrapheneOS with Play Integrity, make a Play Store review with no links asking to stop banning a more secure OS. Next, make a customer support request linking grapheneos.org/articles/att.... Multiple apps have permitted GrapheneOS due to these efforts.

We've been partnered with one of the 10 largest Android OEMs since June 2025. We're working with them towards a subset of their official devices meeting all of our official requirements and providing official GrapheneOS support.

Android is very understaffed due to layoffs/buyouts and insufficient hiring. This is impacting Linux kernel and Android security. Google hasn't fixed taptrap.click which is a serious issue privately disclosed to them in October 2024. We were informed in June 2025 and it took us a few hours to fix...
