Over time, the answer always turns out to be "use the new feature for a while", because it puts in clearer focus what you need to implement next. If you could not decide which of the potentially useful features A, B and C would bring the most benefit, using the app often makes it obvious. 2/2

But that's an image of a left hand on a left hand, unless I forgot what "left" and "right" means...?

This is the last night I'll hear its high-pitched fan whining sound as I try to sleep.

And of course, I'm panicking whether forgot to back up some crucially important files. Even though I spend the last 4 days trying to ensure I backed up everything.

Though they didn't say, 6 am in which time zone? Probably EST. So I would have to be awake before 5 am. Which is also sadly very likely.

It is also not true that dot-files keep One Drive from synchronizing. They don't. It was a sheer volume of files that made it choke.

They took me down unhelpful paths like "One Drive won't synchronize if you have files that start with a dot. So remove all those files."

Problem is, dot-files are used extensively in software development, and I can't hunt them down in all my repositories, because there are hundreds of them.

Instead, zip up the folder before backing up.

This hard-won wisdom was brought to you by hours and hours of frustrated experimentation and dead-end troubleshooting.

The IT people at my work were just as confounded by it as me.

Maybe "he peeled himself off of the wall" would work? By analogy with "I had to peel the label off of the jar".

Ah, yes, that makes sense.

As in, what Childermass does when he transforms from a shadow back into himself?

How did you like it? It's very popular here in Texas - some local conventions sing exclusively from the Cooper book, but I find that too many songs in it resemble marching band music, and they don't represent anything I like about shape note songs.
Luckily, there's a big overlap with the Denson book.

I'm reading "The Saint of Bright Doors". Really interesting.
